The hospital board should be ashamed of the way this devoted physician has been maligned. The credentials committee and Med executive committee should also be ashamed to allow an uncorroborated, biased, and one sided article to smear the reputation of a devoted physician. The institution owes this devoted doctor more for his 30 years of service to his patients and the hospital then the treatment he’s been given.

Mark has saved countless lives within the course of his studies and conduct as Director of Cardiothoracic Transplantation. This so called expose has been taken out of context and sensationalized for the benefit of the source publication. Mark Zucker is a fair, honest, and compassionate physician that has the best interest of his patients at heart, even if they conflict with the family member's wishes. As Mark's fellow co-worker, and proud to be his first heat and lung transplant coordinator, my assessment of his skill still stands true- If Mark cannot save your life, then no body can.

Myself and my family will always be grateful for
the care and compassion of Dr. Mark Zucker. If
not for him, him being L-4 The transplant unit,
I would not still be alive. Not only for my heart transplant, he is the doctor who found the spot
on my kidney. Because of him the malignant tumor was found early. We all need him back!!

After all the lives that were saved by Dr. Zuckers efforts, it is shameful that person with an agenda and some Hack reporter looking for an “I Gotcha” moment would destroy his reputation. Without a full investigation there is no way to know if his actions warrant any punishment. It’s innocent until proven guilty not guilty by accusation.
