Dr. Catherina was a man loved and respected by all students. The administration has been pushing really hard for donations these past months but unless Doc Cat is brought back in the immediate future, I encourage all to cut donations. I know for a fact DBP won't be getting another penny from me and I encourage all to do the same.

This school is going downhill because of father Jim. When does his reign over Don bosco end?

Bosco was a joke of a school from the early 2000's to about 2012-13, then it became a good school for a few years and now it is just a business. Haven't even graduated yet and there is no chance I will send my son here if I have one. Not donating a penny to this place either

What has Bosco come to. Doc is a better representation of the schools mission then the Salesians are.

Doc is the perfect teacher, especially for seniors as he leaves kids with a great memory of the school

Would have been one of Docs students next year, I was very excited to have him as a teacher...it's a damn shame what happened, the man was a legend at Bosco and will continue to be one. Bring doc back

When Saint John Bosco started the Oratory, he wanted it to be 4 things: a home, a school, a church, and a playground. If Don Bosco Prep really wanted to stay true to these ideals, they'd obviously bring back the teacher that embodied the Oratory more than any other: Doc Cat. In Docs class you'd learn a lot (school), you'd be able to have a lot of fun in a positive learning environment (playground), you'd learn about God's design of the human body and how to best use it for good from a man of God (church), and you'd feel at home. I can truly say that there never was a class in my 4 years at Bosco where I felt more at home then Doc Cat's. To think that Bosco would even consider getting rid of Doc makes me want to throw up, but now I hear they plan on doing it? This is a COMPLETE disgrace to say the LEAST. I thought I knew what Bosco was about but it turns out I was sorely mistaken. I thought that one day when I had kids, I'd send them to Bosco. Now there is NO WAY that will happen. I'm out.

Looking back on my experience at Don Bosco Doc is by far the best teacher I've had. The administration should be embarrassed at they way that they handled this sistuation. So happy that I was able to be a part of the OLD Don Bosco.
