My grandad fought and ultimately gave his life for a free country. How dare the most clueless prime minister of my lifetime impose our freedom and control on British citizens. This Half Witt is destroying our country. Tax, tax, tax . Fine or steal by stealth anything a hard working citizen tries to make. Smart young educated people who spend four years at university to teach in private sector like my daughter who at the age of 34 is still paying off her student loan and can barely afford to rent her home, run a crap old car and put food on the table. Kier Starmer . Do the country a favour and resign immediately. It would be the only thing you got right since the citizens of UK put their trust in you to protect them. Lies and deception from day one. Shame on you.

I am very concerned about the new draconian "coronavirus laws" brought in with little or no consultation. Alss the Government and previous ones have been systematically eroding our liberties with new laws sneaked in. Eg. the PSPO Act ? which gives police powere to disperse or arrest ordinary people standing/waiting in the street, and not even engaging in anti-social behaviour, or even talking ! Is this a ban on peaceful protests? This was brought in before the pandemic and is little publicised as well as countless other bad laws.
And now the nasty Government in France is making staggering new draconian "security laws" like China/Hong Kong has done !
People nee d to wake up quick ! Or we will sleepwalk into a totalitarian dictatorship !

The measures being taken do not make sense. Protect the vulnerable the same as you would with flu. 99.9% of people are not vulnerable. We need to get immune to the virus.

Now is the time to reiterate the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of safetyism to the sunlit path of liberty. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of hyper authoritarianism to the solid rock of civic freedom. Now is the time to realise we must learn to live a free life untainted by fear.

The simple answer is that those who are vulnerable, or worried, should stay at home. Everyone else should get on with their lives as normal.

Is 1984 becoming reality?
Draconian, illogical and ill-considered measure.
