Our school is great because of our ability to collaborate with our peers through cougar time. Cougar time is the only time the majority of us have in our busy schedules to interact with our peers and get help from teachers. This is a horrible idea and I am very disappointed that there wasn't a way for all students to express their views!!

we need our cougar time! putting us in designated classes where we might not even have work to do makes us more distracted! if I have a math test and can’t go to math for a whole week during cougar time because of the new rule- I won’t get the help I need and could use in regular Cougar time!

Please do not get rid of Cougar Time. It allows for much more flexibility in assignments and make-ups. It also often happens that one needs extra help in only one or two classes, and teachers are essential for this type of help. Also, not all classes are the most productive or do that much. Yes, you can technically do homework from another class during that time, but it is not as effective if the teacher is not there.

Cougar time is the only time some students have to organize themselves and make up work or work with teachers. Ending Cougar Time will increase student stress and be detriment to our mental health.
