Cougar Time is SO beneficial to me and countless others for 1 on 1 time with teachers, making up quizzes missed, and asking clarifying questions. A small portion of students shouldn't dictate what the whole student body can do - implement detention again!

I need CT for MY reasons, I don’t want to be forced into going in a rotating block. Don’t punish everyone just because a few people were misbehaving, it’s unfair to the entire school and not the correct way to approach the situation.

I have not met a single teacher or student who thinks that replacing Cougar time with a class rotation would be beneficial. Athletes would be especially impacted by the decision, as we have to stay afterschool and therefore must use Cougar times to make up any work we miss.

I feel like it’s primarily students from a particular middle school that have been ruining cougar time for the rest of us

cougar time is important to get work done and it is a nice break between classes. It also is a good time to do test retakes and also with return period wouldn’t benefit students because teachers wouldn’t do anything during the time

WE NEED COUGAR TIME! Teachers give retakes during that time, we do hw, and we relax with friends. Just because there are a select few students, we cant ruin it for everyone else

For students who need a lot more help with one subject than another and use their ct to obtain this help, this new plan is extremely frustrating.

Cougar time is very helpful and valuable to me as a student at oakton. It’s really beneficial and removing it from our school would be very detrimental to my academics and social life.
