As an academy student I rely on cougar time as a travel period. Despite teachers "not being allowed to teach" it's likely that they will and I can miss out on important material or review while I'm at my academy class. I need cougar time to take this class(a class which directly relates to a profession I want to pursue in my future)

They don't understand how many people need couger time, anyone who doesn't should report to a classroom where they have homework or need any extra work.

Literally cougar time is my time to do homework because I have soccer till six and rehearsal till eight and homework until I'm finished and eating an bathing how is a high school student supposed to have any sort of life like this- either keep cougar time and let us get a head start on our work or lessen the work load.

Oakton staff only sees the people who don’t use cougar time efficiently, they don’t see the rest of the school who use the time to study, do homework, and take retests. The staff will be EXTREMELY selfish if they change it to “returning”
