Best Teacher ever. Mr. Reynoso always had his students best interest. He was also the best SkillsUSA Advisor. Mr. Rey can always count on me. Love the guy.

Ten years ago, I was visited by McKee at my middle school for the then CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY. After applying for McKee and two years in, my instructor left and Mr. Reynoso strolled in. At first, I was very skeptical, however, it didn't take very long to realize that for once in my entire life, a teacher I had, decided that I needed to be shaken up. It was then that I realized, life has many twists and turns. The program had already transformed into the Computer Systems & Networking course that it is today. Without this program, I would not be where I am today. I am, 100%, a product of this program that shows the greatest caliber of achievement and success. Mr. Reynoso, and by extension the program, taught me everything I need to know. Five years since graduation as McKee's valedictorian, I have grown as teacher, achieved 20+ certifications related to my industry, completed a variety of internships at enterprise level institutions, and become a staple of the CTE world in New York City. The recommendation by the program and school, allowed me to become a CTE Teacher at 17 years old via the SVA Program, in which the school had projected a need for more Computer Technology trade teachers. (Essentially, program growth and teacher recruitment home grown by the school alumni.) I had worked at McKee as a teacher assigned by the program intended to train me; these students, OUR STUDENTS (Those rising juniors and graduating senior I actually taught), have had the cards stacked up against them, but through it all they persevere. Mr. Forlenza became the National champion by virtue of will, but the program was a solid foundation to validate his skills. Ms. Diaz has always been a highly motivated young woman, thriving in an environment that pursues her passion. These are just a few, who by their own merit, drive, and will enrolled in a program to become college and career ready. That isn't to say that there weren't others. By shutting down the CSN shop without a plan for its current students to continue their technical education shows that the administration has no regards for preparing their students for college and the real world. For McKee to abandon the program all together without a viable replacement really is a shame and a disservice to the students who are passionate about CSN.

this decision will ruin the hopes and dreams of many of my classmates who chose this school for this shop, and now the future of one of the best teachers ive ever had is unknown.

This is not okay, CTE students should be able to accomplish what they desired to begin with. Education is one of the most important keys in order to proceed forward. I truly wish these students get what they need.

As a former student of Mr. Reynolds it pains me to see what the administration at McKee is doing to this wonderful program. The CSN students at McKee deserve to finish their certification track and Mr. Reynoso has been delivering results for years. (See: SkillsUSA, A+ certifications, etc) Please keep this program!

First the seniors have to get their endorsements and the other classes should be allowed to finish their education in Cisco before it is shut down

We need this program in our school, considering that the future will rely on technology and computing.
