Bring Back Coach Lucas Coles to Mountain Ridge Track & Field!

Last season, Coach Lucas Coles completely transformed the Mountain Ridge High School sprint program. He invested his time, energy, and heart into our kids, and the results speak for themselves. In just one season under his leadership, the program saw:

• An unprecedented increase in overall team speed and performance.
• Historic numbers of State Qualifiers and Gold Medals.
• The largest track turnout in MRHS history.
• An incredibly positive culture of joy, discipline, and psychological safety.

Unexpectedly, Coach Coles was let go this season. Since his departure, the athletes have deeply felt the loss. Our kids are missing his mentorship, his proven training methods, and the uplifting, confidence-building environment he worked so hard to create.

We, the parents and student-athletes of Mountain Ridge, know what Coach Coles brings to this community. He didn't just build better athletes; he built better people.

We are respectfully asking the MRHS Administration and Jordan School District to listen to the voices of the families who make up this team.

By signing this petition, we are showing our full support for Coach Coles and formally requesting that he be reinstated to lead the program as the Head Track & Field Coach.
