There is no reason this can't open! It is unreasonable to keep people from selling goods in the FRESH AIR when you can go shop anywhere else!!

I have missed this market all summer long!! There are regular products that I get from vendors that used to be there every weekend! I also like to do my holiday and birthday even stock piling on emergency oops I forgot type of gifts shopping for friends and family throughout the entire season while the Meriden Square market is open! I have not been able to do that yet date!!! Now the politicians seem to have gotten Covid spread “controlled” (sarcasm) see zero reason to not re-open the Meriden Square open air farmers market! I even found a better place to get my fruits and vegetables so I didn’t even have to go downtown! I have also been taking friends family even just visitors I’ve met I always tell them about the Meriden Square farmers market that they have to check it out because they have a little bit of everything for everyone and they’re all handcrafted by local artists! You’re not gonna find anything like it anywhere else!! People have contacted me back thrilled that I was able to provide over several years just that little something to do over a Saturday and have gotten some fantastic gifts for their loved ones!

Please open the Farmers Market. This is ridiculous that it is still closed, yet WalMart, Target, Costco, Sams Club, Harris Teeter, Publix, Trader Joes, Whole Foods and other big corporate stores are allowed to open.

There will NO sense of normalcy if we continue to live in fear!!!! I’m certain I still woke up in America this morning. GIVE US OUR AMERICAN FREEDOMS BACK!!!!

Since this is outdoors, it would be safer than shopping at a grocery store or big box like Walmart or Costco.
