This market not only supports the vendors but also the surrounding businesses. If you can buy groceries safely at Harris Teeter or Publix, you can shop at the farmers market.

It’s time to reopen the farmers market! Adults shop the markets and we are responsible enough to obey the COVID safety rules. Let’s save our small businesses/farmers!

As one of the vendors that has made the Charleston Farmers Market my career for the past 16 years and suddenly out of a job I feel very strongly the CFM should be back in full swing by now. All other farmers markets along with the City Market, stores and restaurants are open. An outdoor market in a big space such as Marion Square would be even safer with proper protocol. CFM is a big attraction and culturally important for our community. We need to get it back to what it was.
