Most of the current ChampioN owners have inherited their champs from family like I did. Some bought their boats brand new because ChampioN offered something different than it's competitors brands, dry smooth ride and superb handling. I acquired my 2003 ChampioN 187 from a very generous man my father in law who boat thos boat brand new from the factory it was customized they way he wanted it. I now have it and love everything about it ride, storage, fishibility in shallow waters and the hole shot with a good prop is amazing. I wouldn't buy anything new other than a ChampioN.

I would love the opportunity to purchase my third ChampioN, I've owed a 187 for 12 years and now a 198 for almost 5 years. ChampioN boats have the best hulls, best rough water handling, sharpest looks with that arrow the wraps the boat from transom to bow. Hands down the best boat ever built. My ChampioN 198 SCX will be the last boat I purchase unless ChampioN is brought back.

I will not buy any other boat than a ChampioN. Untill there new ChampioNs built I will continue to buy old ones and fix them up. Love them Champs.
