Hello, my name is Katelyn Diaz and I am currently a CAC student. CAC used to have a Sonography (A.K.A. ultrasound) program but cut it due to funding. Now the only accredited program in the valley is at Gateway Community College, which is an hour drive for some students and will cost three times as much for Pinal County Residents. I have talked to quite a few students who had the same plan as I do to attend Gateway but also have the same reservations. I was able to get in touch with Jeffrey Bunkelmann, who is one of the people in charge of the health career programs. He informed me that the school is actively looking into returning the program and asked me to start a petition of students who would be interested in taking the program. Please sign this petition and spread the word to other students who may be interested. It would so beneficial for Pinal County students.
