"These Un4getable Breakfast Bars" Oh my God - I use 2 LUV these breakfast bars! In 1976 (16 yrs old), I threw out an empty box of Butter Pecan Squares, because it had aged. My intention was 2 replace it, 4 I kept lit'l things like pencils, pens, eraser & etc there. I never replaced it & I regret it 2 this day. I always felt, I had time 2 do so. Dad, would take us 2 the grocery store (Grand Union or Xtra), & that was one of the 1st items I'd run 4 & place in the grocery cart. I'd smile, owning a sense of silly victory, because I couldn't wait 2 devour a pack of 2, with a cold glass of milk! I'm here, 4 I ended breaktast @ McDonald's, & like most who remember, I reflect on these bars - it's incredible how I can't let the memory go! Not just of the bars (vanilla & butter pecan being my favorite), but the time, the luvd ones, & bein' w/o the technical bs we tolerate 2day! Smart Phns, Text, Email, Twitter, Facebook - & the like - all has seperated, impersonalized & completely spoiled us! It just fine, then. We made it. People in general, & families, seem 2 b closer. Or am I wrong? We can't bring back a time I'm sure many wish could return, but maybe r taste buds can revisit these un4getable breakfast bars. V M Hall 6/28/17 9:57am EST
