I have been an anime fan since I was little and really miss seeing it on tv. Most of the time now channels like YTV and Teletoon show constant reruns and the only anime I find in Canada is Pokémon and Yugioh which are fine but too little. Nice to see more and some shows for an older audience as most shows now on tv are for 12 and below. I say bring back the anime.

Bionix was essentially toonami for canada. with some undercooked areas. like no tom or hosts for example. but it brought a genre of animation to an audience that had to deal with spongebob and icarly reruns everyday. its really sucks that it got cancalled. its like flipping the bird to anyone who watches your cancel thats 12 and up. dark oracle, zixx, death note, eureka seven, naruto, DBZ. all showed back then.why cant it show now?
I completely back the petition. and hopefully it gets all the nessesary signatures to push it in motion.
Should this generation be stuck with imported sitcoms from Nickelodeon. and crappy sitcoms made here? hell no.

I never really watched bionix because at the time I wasn't an anime fan but now that I have researched it I need it in my life

It's been nearly a year since anime has been around YTV which made me very angry when I heard they traded away the anime to Teletoon and I don't have that channel. I've been very at YTV for years since they killed Naruto and Bleach off from YTV and I blamed them, Corus and the CRTC for ruining the rights of what we can and can't watch. Who freaking cares about the ratings anyhow? Plus how come Canada didn't get Shippuden like the US and some other countries? Same reason as I mentioned. Nickelodeon shows like Spongebob, Penguins of Madagascar and Rabbids Invasion, plus a couple of Canadian shows like Numb Chucks are the only shows I can enjoy on YTV, but still it's just not the same without anime. Either Corus and CRTC puts anime back on YTV or I'll continue to hate YTV for a long time.

Sure it's easy to watch anime online nowadays...but NOTHING beats that television "gotta catch the next show!" environment.

Wow...judging by the time frames of some comments I can deduce there really are some hardcore die hard Bionix/anime fans still around!
Wow I'm truly Impressed. But look I'm in my 20s now and the last thing on my mind is Television..you can access anime easily online now. So its not big deal, but i'm not gonna lie there was a great sensation and feeling when they air anime..good times good.timess

I've been an anime fan since Pokemon days and recently I've been angry at YTV due to the fact that they removed anime completely by trading them away to Teletoon and in fact I've been angry at YTV since for 6 years over anime scheduling and removing my favourite anime like Naruto and Bleach in early 2010. I've been blaming YTV over this a long time and I wanted them bring anime and Bionix block back on YTV or my hatred towards YTV will remain. WE WANT ANIME BACK NOW!!!

I love anime and be nice to see it again on tv. Feels like everything now in Canada is live-action and cartoons being repeated over and over. Plus always loved watching Bionix on weekend
