Possibly the most engrossing series I have watched in the past decade. For it to not be renewed for a second season and yet all the other "by the numbers" dross that the BBC seems to have the time and money to produce is an insult to serious drama.

Bring it back!!!! So frustrating to watch season 1 and then nothing !!! . You have a responsibility to viewers who love the show. With ratings in Australia so high why would you axe it. A very poor financial position for BBC to make and a sad day for those who have binged on season 1.

Banished is a very good show set at a very interesting time period that had an ending begging for more of the story. Ending as it did was very unsatisfying.
