I loved this show, the plot was very interesting, and the acting was wonderful!

There is a lot more to say about the hangman who was forced to hang his friend. A lot more to say how the need to survive confront our values and makes us ask if surviving at all costs is really a life.

Another brilliant series that was axed before it's time. This is a drama that has so much mileage left in it and once again based on a time in history that most of us know precious little about.

We need more high quality drama. Cancelling Banished was IMO slightly cruel to the audience, bc there were so many loose ends to the story and so much material regarding character back-stories. It has been some years since I saw it now, but I still would like to know what happened and why...
