Absolutely LOVED the 1st season (hint hint) of Banished. It stands so far above any other of that genre...so real. Please give us more seasons.

I just watched this whole series today Oct 17/20 on amazon Prime. Very very saddened to discover it was cancelled. We need to be able to watch quality drama instead of the trash they are making now and the constant remakes of films that have been thrashed to death!!! So disappointed in BBC.

Typical BBC waste money paying silly salaries to so called `executives` and`celebrities` introducing pop record shows. no wonder there is no money left for intelligent entertainment like banished and similar series.

are you kidding? this requires at least a 2nd season.... a huge swath of british and australian history is represented in a microcosm in each and every character displayed in this richly written series.
