We, the Matrics of 2025, strongly oppose the decision to cancel Ballito Rage and relocate it to a cruise ship. Rage has always been a symbol of freedom and celebration for Matrics after 12 years of hard work. By moving the event to a cruise, you are stripping away the essence of what Rage truly represents and making it inaccessible for many students.

The Ballito Rage experience is about tradition, inclusivity, and creating unforgettable memories in a location that has defined the event for years. A cruise ship, while novel, does not align with the spirit of Rage or the expectations of the majority of Matrics.

We demand the following:

1. Reinstate Ballito Rage as the primary venue for 2025.

2. Consult Matrics directly before making such significant changes in the future.

3. Ensure that Rage remains an event that is accessible and affordable to all Matrics.

We, the undersigned, urge Rage Management to reconsider this decision and act in the best interest of the Matrics of 2025 and future classes. Listen to our voices, because without us, there is no Rage.
