I am an American and I LOVE BBC (shown on pbs in US). I fell in love with Crimson Field the first episode I saw it. I have watched each episode faithfully and was distraught when I learned there will be no season two; Crimson Field got axed. How absolutely TERRIBLE! BBC, how dare you? How could you leave us hanging like that? The writing, casting, directing, acting, and costumes are superb! I want to know what hpapens to Kitty and Tom (I LOVE Richard Rankin - beautiful man!), Sister Joan (will she ever reunite with her hunk love of her life?), Col Brent (will he be kicked demoted/kicked out?), will Miles get a love in his life (Alex Wyndham is adorable and his character Miles is charming - he deserves a girl in his life). I want to know! BBC: BRING BACK CRIMSON FIELD!!!

Aloha, The Crimson Field was a well written and acted show that sucked me into WW1 and the drama of a medical unit in a Mash unit in France. I must find out what happens to the characters and their story line. Just when it got interesting, the show was over! I saw much character growth and development. Kudos to writer Sarah Phelps!

Please save the show. Besides the incredible cast, the story is excellent. It's. Drama but it teaches people not to forget. It was written so beautifully .

Please reconsider, I need to know more about these characters stories. I have watched each episode multiple times in anticipation of what will happen next. I promise to buy each series. I want to know more. I loved this as much as Downton Abbey more than Mr. Selfridge and Poldark and I can care less about some of the other series on PBS. If not BBC then PBS could pick it up? Please bring this series back. There is too much left unfinished!
