I am disgusted that the BBC could cancel a show of this quality and with such an important story to tell. Have the BBC lost its conscience?

The only flaw of this great series is that it didn't go on long enough. PBS, bring TCF back for your viewers!

Bring The Crimson Field back for another season! So many story lines not developed and resolved! We love this show.

The Crimson Field has not been rightfully brought to the attention of the United States viewer. If it did, Sarah couldn't deliver the next three years of the series fast enough. Brilliance reigns in the timing of how the love story between Oona and Rankin's characters unfold. BCC is distracted by the ending of Downton and foolish to let this gem of a show disappear. They are blinded by the height of all Downton has brought them. Don't be an idiot BBC....what has brought thus far but the depth potential in story possibilities. You are the benchmark for the rest of the world's television efforts...to which US programming doesn't hold a candle. Wake up.....see Sarah's work for the jewel it is.

The Crimson Field delivers the superb acting and story line that us Yanks have come to expect from the Brits. Please don't say you have cancelled this wonderful show. I will be watching re-runs to satisfy my enjoyment of these characters.
