extremely disappointed that this brilliantl work was not publicized effectively to achieve the viewer numbers it deserved. We found it by accident and believe it to be one of the most rewarding shows of the summer; flawless research, superb casting/acting, magnificent dialogue that explored the psyche of the characters and their story lines... There should have been a fair notice at the beginning of the series that it would end abruptly ~ we were so caught up in the story that we feel emotionally abused to have it end without warning, as it did. This should be recommissioned. Now, one wonders what will happen as we look forward to the next season of Downton Abbey and being reunited with those characters ~ will the BBC sanction that show to its rightful conclusion?

WWI is not spoken of much in our classrooms in the U.S. This show has been wonderful for us to watch with our kids and teach them at the same time. We love it!! Please bring it back!!!!

I only just found out that this amazing show has been canceled. With Downton Abbey having only one more season, I had found some solace in having a few years of Crimson Field to look forward too. How sad.

Excellent production with 7+ million consistent viewers. Kindly reverse this unfortunate executive decision and re-commission additional seasons of The Crimson Field. Thank you. Sincerely, Nancy Lee Gerson, Esq.
