The Crimson Field is an incredible insight to the medical work done in the war through the eyes of women, something that is not often shown. It had compelling characters and interesting internal stories, some of which were left unfinished. I would love to see a return of this, especially as the demand is extremely high.

a really wonderful series and would have so much more stories to be told .Can't understand how the BBC are not taking up the option of a second series that has so many people asking and indeed voting for.

TCF is a refreshing story of the WWI finally from women's point of view! The cast is wonderful and the writing superb. Whoever the BBC did not support a second series is beyond me!
