I would definitely watch three seasons, as would my friends. We are so disappointed that there is only one season.

I love this show and cannot understand why it has not been commissioned for more series. It is just as good as Call the Midwife so why not?

There is something very special about this show. It's intriguing, powerful and has wonderful characters. The writing, acting and music are so wonderful. This is a show that I want to watch every week.

I bought the UK dvd and have watched the entire first series. It's such high quality drama, so well written and acted, that I can't believe it's not worthy of continuation. We need more stories like this.

This is wonderful series that shows the futility and devastation of war. It is beautifully done with quality performances from the cast. In this time of constant war it provides a realistic look at the enormous toll on the soldiers, medical staff, and families. We need more high caliber series like the Crimson Field as a reminder of the destruction of war. Bad move on the part of BBC to cancel the Crimson Field.

My great great aunt was a VAD and I so love this program. It's so hard to find excellent shows. Please don't let this one disappear.

This was a wonderful show with so much potential. Very angry the bbc has cancelled it. It was a very foolish move (especially as it attracted more viewers than the ever so popular Last Tango In Halifax!)
