This is a wonderfully written drama. Please give us a second season!

This many-layered portrayal of the human consequences of warfare, particularly during such a formative time in European, Balkan, and Middle East geopolitics that was to set the stage for decades to come, is vitally educational, and engaging. Please recommission the series, so that we all may continue to benefit from its probing questions.

Seeing the wounded gives yet another glimpse of the horrors of the Great War. My great uncle Frank was wounded in that war, but didn't speak of it. These dramas help us know a little of what they went through.

I just finished watching this series and I'm heartbroken that it's been cancelled. It's such an excellent show and it's a real disappointment that it won't be back. Please, please bring it back!!

It is a wonderful series & showcases WWI which I doubt many of the younger generations know much about. Everything about the series is superb.
