I feel exactly as Sarah Phelps said she did, absolutley gutted that this program was ended after One Season! It is a STELLAR production, writing, acting, historical accuracy, movie set, et., I find it unbearable for it to end with so much more story to tell. PLEASE RECOMMISSION CRIMSON FIELD with all the original actors and writer Sarah Phelps.

Please reinstate the series Crimson Fields! My husband and I rarely enjoy movies together. It is a well written, well acted period piece... We were so looking forward to the next season on our American BBC channel!!!

Marvelous well acted program - I was very invested in the character! BBC cannot let a series end as it did! Six episodes cannot determine a series future- initial commitment should be 12!

Loved, loved, loved this series. So much more potential for the story and character. Living in Australia it is a pleasure to have access to BBC First. Can't believe they haven't commissioned a second series. Absolutely ludicrous.
