I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Please reconsider the cancelation of the series. You've left viewers hanging at the end. At least let us k ow if it's a one season and then we can decide if we even want to get involved.

I've been watching Poldark and Crimson Field on Sunday evenings. As good as Poldark is, Crimson Fields is over the top even better! Well acted, gripping stories and wonderful characters. Why in the world would BBC not go for more? I don't understand. Please bring it back!

Excellent series typical of the BBC; however I'm very disappointed that the BBC cancelled a second series to make room for new shows. Despite state, emits by the BBC that the series ended on a feel-good finale, it did not. On the contrary, it left one hanging and wanting for more. I do hope the BBC does not rely so heavily on ratings, as the USAdoes, that they would cancel such a good production.

I rank this series as quality TV, combining history, drama and the excellence in acting and all aspects of production for which Britain is well known. That it should be cancelled after one season even though viewer support is good, especially in N.America indicates that the BBC is making a bad decision. Was it pique at something somebody did/said, or is it another example of eschewing something considered by some to be highbrow in favour of lowbrow rubbish which apparently appeals to the masses. An egregious example of which is the unfathomable appeal of " Coronation Street ".

I love all of the episodes in series 1. Please continue. I absolutely love the story, the characters, and the progress of the show. I was disappointed when I found out the show was canceled. What a shame!

Why would such an intelligent and well acted show be given the ax! Makes no sense when lesser shows stay on. Please reconsider this move.
