I doubt the Crimson Field audience knows of the cancellation. I heard by word-of-mouth. I just assumed there would be a season two. Why was the show even shown if PBS knew it was cancelled?

I loved this show! Get rid of Wolf Hall, if you must cancel a show. It was slow... boring.... Crimson Field had a fantastic cast ... great story lines ... Is there a book we at least can read to get closure...plus find out the mysteries of each character?

Please save / renew Crimson Field! Finally quality night time television and PBS / BBC doesn't even realize they have a hit show.

Bring back this excellent series! I am so dissappointed that it was cancelled. I just saw it was breathlessly waiting for more... then it was cancelled. This is a great program.

As it is based on Lyn MacDonald´s book The Roses of No Man´s Land, it can´t be bad.

With so little on television that raises awareness of historical times why would you cancel something that might be as wonderful as Downton Abbey has been?
