Smarten up Rogers. You don't fire someone who was awarded the best by his peers. I thought it was just Rogers communication that was incompetent but I guess it's everything you touch.
Go head jack up my bills cause you have no shame in pursuing max profit. But seriously leave my sports teams along.
There's nothing in common between phones and sports. So hire sports guys and keep your damn suits out of business.
You just ruined Toronto sports for me. Knowing Rogers is clueless over making obvious decision. No other company in American sports would be as incompetent to fire the gm of the year. Seriously.
At the very least have the decency to not drag Alex's babe through the mud. Alex's class is rare. And Rogers lack of class is just the norm.

Not Shapiro's fault for taking the job, coming to a great situation. Ed Rogers should of been banned from baseball decisions when embarrassing us by his tampering attempting to replace Beeston. I think we all felt secure in the fact they would give AA the farm after a hugely successful year. We were wrong. Rogers can screw up anything and is rich enough to survive it.

Beeston and AA should be staying... it is Ed Rogers, the incompetent trust-fund baby who has done just about everything wrong in attempting to show the baseball world he is 'large and in charge' in Toronto, in spite of the fact that he knows less about baseball than the casual fan, who should be saying adios. The embarasment Rogers has caused the Jays with his tampering with other teams' execs, and the inexcusable disrespect he showed in operating behind Beeston's back will be his sole legacy in baseball.

This was by far a very low baseball move. I hope AA gets on with a club and this comes back to haunt the Jays as I am sure it will.

In my opinion AA has been the heart and soul of our beloved Blue Jays. He is responsible for building the depth of the organization and shaping the success and winning identity the Jays now enjoy. A whole new generation has fallen in love with the Jays thanks to Alex's handiwork. The chemistry is right with Alex leading the baseball operations. Do the right thing Rogers. Either let Shapiro go altogether (move him elsewhere) and bring Alex back, or create two clearly defined but separate roles - one for the business side (Shapiro) and one for the baseball side (AA). Whatever it takes, whatever works, make it right. Then we can go back to riding the amazing high we've been enjoying with this team recently, and the Jays can go back to being the stable charismatic team they were before all this happened. Remember, we the fans are your customers. We buy the merchandise and we fill the stadium seats. And you know the customer is always right. Clearly, we want Alex back with the Jays. The fans have spoken. Do the right thing Rogers. Thank you.

Do not let AA WALK AWAY,send Shapiro packing. Now that we have a decent team that AA built,he should be here to help it win the big one. I was on the verge of getting my cell renewed with Rogers, but have changed my mind. Shapiro strikes me as a underhanded type of person.
