Reading June Mottershead's book it was interesting to learn about the ingenious ways the family managed to overcome the many difficulties they faced to keep the zoo open particularly during WW2. What a great legacy they left in the charity Chester Zoo which is raising awareness and involved in work around the World helping save many critically endangered species.

Unbelievable!!! There are no decent programmes to watch on the BBC, so they decided not to continue the series because the formula works. Doesn’t makes sense!!

One of the best we’ve watched in many years. This series deserves to be brought back. The persons who decided to cancel this great series need to be replaced. To cancel a series with such incredible writing / acting / and message is a large disappointment. Don’t cancel the show, fire the the people who made the decision to cancel it

Such a magnificent show and amazing actors. I rarely enjoy drama shows, but the story of Our Zoo got me overwhelmed. I've cried twice when watching it. I love this show so much.
