What a ludicrous decision by the BBC. This was a really popular drama with so many people that was getting good ratings. Viewers want to know what happens next. It is just a totally unsatisfactory outcome. BBC... What are you thinking? ????

Great family viewing, should have been in an earlier time-slot. Come on BBC, repeat the first series at a day and time suitable for families and commission a second series.
Excellent show, got to get at least another series!

Having visited Chester Zoo many times when I was growing up I thoroughly enjoyed this series and am so disappointed to read that the BBC are not willing to make a second series. The first series ended before the zoo had even opened. Surely we should be able to see the story continue. Too much sport and news is shown on the television these days and there should be more shows based on true historical events.
