The zoo was a fantastic programme, and a second series should be allowed for the public to see how the zoo.

Every week I can't wait to watch the next episode.it is so different from the boring soaps we see every day.this shows us how we as family should be.

We love this programme, it gives us an insight as to how the UK's favourite and most popular zoo came about. We now know how it started and finally got opened but we would like to see the trials and tribulations of the Mottersheads making it into the favourite zoo of the U.K.

As a Cestrian I consider this is an important part of our local history. Importantly, it was a well-executed piece of drama with good viewing figures, and deserves a second series.

With the amount of repeats and reality trash on TV I cant believe the BBC are missing the opportunity of such a fantastic, true story with so much more to tell.

Disgraceful that this series has been axed....& the BBC are saying they have to make way for new shows....someone's lost the plot......time for a U turn BBC.

Was so looking forward to a second series. This was the best programme on television for a long time. It will probably be replaced with rubbish.

so what are the "powers that be" in the bbc looking for if such a well made and popular program, that has only run a single series, does fit the bill?
