a brilliant show.it is how I was raised and how I raise my daughter. care for all animals and show others that animals should not be treated cruelly. we are in Australia and the show has just finished here and so disappointed. so loved the show and the principals of George.

This is one of the few shows I can watch with my 5 year old daughter. Crazy decision by the BBC to not proceed with the second series. It is very popular in Australia.

An entertaining and it would seem very high rating show. If there is more to tell then surely it must come back for a second series. Stories of this quality do not come about every day and the cast was superb.

I love animals and believe them to be a superior form of life than humans. The Morttershead family had the right idea and it was conveyed with poignancy in this exceptional series. Brilliant script, acting and direction left me and my family wanting more!! Please BBC, have a heart and don't be like the Reverend in 'Our Zoo'...humanity needs a series like this!!

There used to be a time when world leading broadcast stations would fight to invest in stories that affect. This first series of Our Zoo did, internationally. Surely Lord Hall can hear the echo of his words "I want younger & less affluent audiences to be better served by the BBC". Lord Hall said he was "not prepared to compromise on the quality of what I think is at the heart of the BBC, and that is drama." You said it Lord Hall & what an inspiring legacy to uphold by green-lighting a second series of Our Zoo.

Our family totally loved this show and being based on true events made it even more touching. BBC makes great drama but to make a programme such as this which brings the family together to watch something that appeals to all is something that doesn't happen enough in todays TV scheduling. Please give us more.

Obviously we knew that planning permission would be granted, but what about the rest of the heartwarming story? There must be plenty of drama in the initial build up, and then the war to contend with. I recognise that film with live animals isn't going to be easy or cheap but where ther's a will..........

Please produce another series. It is the ONLY show we watch as a family. Lee Ingleby is fabulous. They all are! What a wonderful story. It shows a family overcoming adversity together. Great role models.
