My family adored this programme and I was secretary's that it was cancelled. Plesase bring back this credit to the BBC. If it's space you're short of might I recommend cutting Eastenders or part gaps any news relating to either Brexit or Trunp in order to help distract the public from the downward trajectory that we have embarked upon, leading to our inevitable nose dive into right wing sewage. Perhaps a certain BBC show about Chester zoo might act as such a distraction.

This was one of the best dramas on TV - why was it dropped? There should be a statue raised at the zoo to George Mottershead - what a fantastic man he was who risked everything to get the zoo launched against the vested interests and the obstructive attitudes of those who stood in his way.

Our local zoo and favourite place for our children to visit. They've love watching the series over and over again and keep asking for a second series!

This is a delightful quality family television series and a nice change from all the 'reality' television crap that passes for programming these days. My family and I were looking forward to enjoying this series for several years. We anticipated the series would take us to modern day life at the Chester Zoo.

My partner and I have just finished watching the entire first series again and it is a wonderful show. We intend visitng the zoo when enxt we are in the UK. Best of all, it features very little baking, house hunting/construction or dreary reality themes.
