Our Zoo is a breath of fresh air and the best TV series of the year - we don't have enough quality family drama like this so to cancel such a fantastic show is a very sad move.

Please commission another series - it was a gem. If you want to make room for new dramas get rid if Waterloo road and Holby - both have run their course!

So disappointed - there arent many shows which are genuine family viewing - i used to record it for my children to watch - if it was shown at a family viewing rather than 9pm then im sure viewing would be even higher - as it was 5.5 million people loved this show - with a story with more to tell too

me and my son watched this show every week this is far better then some of the shows on BBC very sad they have chosen to to not continue it was Cleary popular and has so many stories to come.

Wonderful and uplifting. A story of an ordinary family who achieved something amazing and despite all odds. Inspires you to pursue your dreams. Great family entertainment. Much better than the many murder mysteries on TV now which seem to becoming more and more graphic and more worryingly probably numbing its viewers to the violence. Chester Zoo today does a fantastic job in raising awareness of the plight of animals in the wild and helps through its conservation work. Many animals like the great apes and tigers numbers in the wild have plummeted in recent decades, with alarming small populations left. Good zoos like Chester are needed for many of these animals as a refuge. For example, Sydney the camels has only 1000 wild Bactrian relatives left living in China and Mongolia, many of them on a nuclear testing ground as else where they’ve been shot as their habitat has been taken over to be farmed. Really shocked the drama has been axed for the reasons given by the BBC as it was one of the MOST original dramas on TV.

Our Zoo is a fabulous programme that could be viewed by the whole family. The acting was incredible (especially by the non human actors!). It's a travesty that the BBC haven't commissioned a second series

The start was a bit slow admittedly but by the end of the series it was a must watch! I looked forward to the enormous potential for even more comical moments in series 2 and am devastated it is not now going to be made.

i live in Chester and was brought up in Upton, I thoroughly enjoyed the series of Our Zoo and have been waiting to hear when series 2 would be aired, terribly disappointed, please rethink.
