There are so many repeats and reality shows on television that it made a refreshing change to watch a good series based on fact. It was well written and many people including myself were looking forward to seeing the development of the zoo. It was the best programme I've seen for a long time. Please reconsider your plans to scrap this programme.

The BBC seem to keep axing great shows .. and churning out yet more meaningless dramas about modern police detectives. Bring back Our Zoo!

I loved this programme, something a bit different to watch with my family. Very sad to hear it's been cancelled as I was looking forward to seeing it develop!

This is an outrage. Same old excuse by the Beeb: "in order to create room for new shows and to keep increasing the range of BBC One drama we sometimes have to make hard choices." That means they'll replace it with rubbish shows.
Our zoo was fantastic. We were really looking forward to a second series. Please bring it back...
a lovely series based on truth but could easily continue as fiction. It was so enjoyable and different to most other things on TV.

Best drama series this year, deserves at least one (perhaps two) more series and perhaps a Christmas special next year.
Why such a great drama series based on an amazing true story which was hugely popular has ended so soon I don't know. Bring it back!
