My childhood, my teenage years, my 20s, my son's childhood, a fabulous place to visit as I get older. So many memories! The Aquarium was a fascinating place to go when I was still little. Still is. Would love to see a second series. Please lose the Lancashire accents though'.

My family loved Our Zoo, from my 14 year old daughter to my 97 year old grandma. Favourite episode was the penguins but each episode was fantastic with great actors, especially the animals. There's so much more of the story to be told, I would be hugely disappointed if Our Zoo didn't return. Maybe an earlier time slot too so we can watch it as a family.

There's little enough good TV based in our part of the world. Why remove a story that is well acted, well produced, high quality, emotive and historically significant. With the poor qualty of so much of today's TV I wonder what the BBC are considering to replace it with?
