Management should firstly support nurses, who are the backbone of the hospital, and suffer daily, physically...so please de-stress the pregnant woman.

The hypocrisy is real. We as nurses are expected to care and advocate for our patients no matter who they are or where they come from. We are expected to come out of our pockets and use our free time in Einstein's name for the March of dimes and other charities. Where is the care and compassion for our own?? I suppose there's no use because there's no press? This is shameful. I hope our signatures make a difference. And I wish Amanda and her baby the best of luck during this stressful time.

This is disgraceful. This proves there’s continued contempt for nurses at Einstein.

Working in L&D I know of plenty of situations that could require light duty. This is totally unfair we have a desk right outside our departmen. Where we should have security but instead its almost always occupied by people on light duty.
