I don't even live there and would love it. The show is based out of Kansas. The out of town attendance would be huge, also lower overhead for Creation. :)

Supernatural would attract a huge number of people from the Midwest, especially people who can't travel the distance to attend a Chicago, Dallas or Denver event.

This is the birthplace of the show! How have they NOT had a convention here? Kansas is their original home. Where it all started.

I live in Europe and would have to travel overseas for a Creation Convention anyway.
I'd definitely travel to Kansas for a KanCon and make a vacation out of it.

I would love this convention that's within a driveable distance for me. All these cons that I have to fly to reduces the amount of money I can spend with Creation!

I usually go to Chicago, but I really dislike making that drive. Dallas is also within driving distance for me, but I'd prefer something closer.

I would absolutely love a con in Kansas! Even though I'm in Ohio, I would totally make the trip! It's where the boys are from! There's no better place.

I would ABSOLUTELY attend a Kansas City Convention! I live in Columbia, Mo, and it would be wonderful not to have to travel more than 2 hours for once to attend. ;D I'd most likely spend more money as well since I don't have to waste it on an airplane ticket!

Kansas is where the heart of the show is! Even fans in the UK can find Kansas on a map! Besides Vancouver (who has a con) there is no better place!
