the town was alotted the funds , as it was printed in the newsletter/papers that were released a few years back , give the town something that the children can enjoy there is an empty cinema in the town ,re-use these old buildings , spend money on someting that has a purpose , not waste money on statues or giant flowers etc,it will also draw people in from other area's ,try and put some life back into a town that was such an productive area :)

We need a cinema. As our youngster have had to travel for long enough to other towns. The Blackwood cinema is brilliant, but isn't it time that our youngster had one to. Like one comment already made,this would not only be great for the people of bargoed,but would also be great for the people of aberbargoed,newtredegar,and surrounding areas.

I would like to see a cinema in Bargoed. My dad used to take me to the Cameo cinema when it was there. The town badly needs one, a cinema in Bargoed is long over due!

This is exactly what Bargoed needs. Would be attractive to Bargoed and many surrounding towns especially with the new ships and bars in Bargoed. Would be highly popular

I was disappointed that the planned cinema for Bargoed was dropped. I think there should be funding to re open the Hanbury cinema.
