Dear IMAX

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has select scenes shot on 70mm IMAX. I live near NYC which is one of the biggest markets around. However, there is only one true imax theater in NYC (AMC Lincoln Square) that is capable of showing films at 70mm. I heard from you that the company has no plans to show force awaken at lincoln square in 70mm therfore preventing NYC from being able to see the film the way JJ ABRAMS intended. What I mean is that since an IMAX laser system hasn't installed yet and there are no plans for 70mm in NYC, it will be in Xenon digital which won't take full advantage of the scenes shot in IMAX. In my view, that's just screwing over us fan (some actually believe they were going to lincoln square to see it in 70mm. Please reconsider your decision and bring a 70mm print of The Force Awakens to show it on IMAX FILM.
