Everyone has a right to travel in safety bu thtere have been a number of alarming incidents of racist abuse towards innocent members of the public, inclujding wimen and children, on Brighton's buses recently. We respectfully request that Brighton Bus Company takes action to prevent future incidents of racist abuse. We believe that prominent signage, with details of intent to prosecute and the criminal sanctions that can be imposed, along with the empowerment of drivers to take action are two sensible suggestions.
