Annalong village centre has been suffering over the last few decades, as many businesses and services have moved out of the centre onto the main Kilkeel Road. Many of these former business premises are now derelict adding to the sense that the village centre is in real decline. This petition, initiated by the Annalong Regeneration committee of ACDA, is aimed at starting to reverse that decline and make Annalong Village centre a more attractive place where people are proud to live, businesses would be more inclined to locate and visitors more inclined to spend some time.
THIS PETITION IS SPECIFICALLY ASKING IF YOU WOULD SUPPORT THE USE OF DIGITAL IMAGING TO BRIGHTEN UP THE DERELICT SHOP FRONTS IN THE VILLAGE (similar to Bushmills - see Brighter Bushmills and their Artwork to get an idea of what we are about)
