Nice one Louise. The lido was fantastic. Spent all day there during the summer holidays. Thought it was a travesty demolishing that and building the non-swimming pool the splash. In the old days, (yes, those good old ones), most everyone could swim. We all had somewhere to hang out. It was massive so it could accommodate so many. The splash was a ripple in comparison. We need a big lido again!!!!

Our local authorities made up from elected people they are supposed to represent need to go out and talk to those and get a true understanding and preferably gain some understanding and compassion. Then their subsequent actions will ensure they will be remembered long after they have gone, for better , or for worse. What would they prefer?

Splash was the hub of our community in Bridgwater and the surrounding villages. It's were many families brought children, met and got to know our greater neighbours. We have no other family orientated places here, except community centres, which are more geared to events that are not all ages. Please build a new and better Lido for the ever more populated town of Bridgwater

Great for kids and adults alike and creating lots of jobs for local people as well. Will also bring people to our town and be good for surrounding town and shops.

Bridgwater needs something, and this is by far the best idea yet put forward. Lido's and water parks make more sense than another shopping centre.

think it will be a great asset to Bridgwater and surrounding areas I loved splash and the nearest quay west is over a hour away bring it on we need somthing big
