This project would bring so very much to this Edinburgh community - skills, training and education, business, a community-space. It would seem crazy for the council to stand in the way of the project coming to fruition for the sake of earning a few quick short-term pennies through the sale of the land.

This is a great example of community engagement in social enterprise and should be encouraged...

Would love to see this house being used again after seeing it falling to a near ruin over last 15, at least, years.

Social enterprise is such a great thing that everyone can benefit from. It will be great for the community at the same time as using a great building appropriately. More community spaces can only be a good thing.

This is too good an opportunity to miss! The city needs more community spaces, helping to bring people together and work together.

I couldn't agree more, and hope the Council support your project (as we hope they will support ours over in Leith, also waiting to hear if we will have use of a historic building for a community project!)

Best of luck with this fantastic venture. We must support community ownership for community benefit.
