Have u ever had ur iphone stolen? Do u know what happens if it get stolen? Would u like to kill the black market for stolen iphones? If u answered yes to the above, ur like me. i had my iphone stolen recently. i had mobile me. it help me locate the stolen phone.I found the location to my stolen iphone but the police could not get it back. Then i called my carrier (AT&T). I explained the situation. I expected them to brick my iphone (block it & prevent future use of it in their system). The said no. There is no way to do that. Then I asked....What if a phone gets stolen from a retail store like Walmart? They said....Yes then we flag it for non use. Friends I'm outraged. Both AT&T & Apple have shown they don't care if a black market exist for the iphone. Why u ask? A. When u loose ur iphone, u have to repurchase another one anyway. B. The stolen iphone gets reactivated by the culprits who steal it. Both apple and AT&T win both ways. I say it is time to do something about it. If I can get enough people to stand together we can request that both apple & AT&T brick the serial # of stolen iphones in their system. Once an Iphone is stolen it becomes useless to the perpetrator.There are nearly 100 million iphone users. If we allow this to continue the black market for iphones will create greater problems for us all. Join me by filling out this petition and tell all ur family and friends.
