We, the undersigned homeowners of the Briar Patch subdivision, respectfully petition to begin the formal process of establishing our own self-governed Homeowners Association (HOA), effective upon the completion of final construction within our community, anticipated in Summer or Fall 2025. As vested residents, we believe it is both our right and responsibility to shape the future of our neighborhood and ensure that decisions impacting our homes, finances, and communal spaces reflect the collective will of those who live here.
Our intent is to create the Briar Patch Community Board, a governing body comprised of elected officers and supported by volunteer committees and staff as needed. This transition will allow homeowners to manage our own budget, directly oversee the allocation of annual association dues, and make informed decisions on maintenance, beautification, and community development. We are united in our belief that local, resident-led governance is the best path forward for transparency, responsiveness, and long-term neighborhood success. Accordingly, we respectfully request the removal of the current Property Management Company at the completion of construction, and ask that all necessary steps be initiated to support the creation of our independent HOA.

The management company just takes our money and never fixes the front gate. About time we ran this place ourselves.

Finally some common sense. Looking forward to having local neighbors in charge instead of some faceless corporate office.

My husband has had negative experiences with this current HOA. We feel that they look for reasons to cite homeowners instead of taking steps to educate and help new homeowners
