Friends and Neighbors,
Briarpark Drive has, as of late, become a cut through speedway for people trying to avoid the traffic that occurs at Westheimer and Beltway 8. I live at Briarpark Dr. and Piping Rock and on a daily basis, I witness drivers slam on the gas between Overbrook and where Briarpark Dr. bends around to Meadow Lake. As you all are aware, our neighborhood has a lot of young children and elderly residents who could potentially be threatened by the reckless driving we all witness every day. Please sign this petition so our voices can be heard by the City of Houston and we can get appropriate Traffic Calming measures in place. Rest assured, with your backing, I will take this fight on my shoulders and get it accomplished.

I live at 10039 Overbrook. I too witness the reckless drivers that come thru Briargrove Park. Don't know if they are neighbors, or taking a short-cut thru the neighborhood, but something needs to be done to slow these people down.
