Spain are backing us. Why not the UK?? I worked and paid taxes in the UK for over 30 years. We have been totally forgotten by the British government.

Received my letter today from NHS Business Svs. A bit contradictory - "your health care will remain the same after 31/10/2019" then just before that line it says until at least 31/12/2020 !!!!

Health cover continuing under S1 is vital to me staying in Spain. I have existing condition with medication costs of 17,500 € per year, there are no alternatives open to me if S1 scheme for pensioners were to end.

Just because we live in Spain it does not mean we don’t want a say in our future . I for one paid my dues for 41 years and expect that this gives me some rights for my remaining years .

From leaving school/college , and starting employment you are forced to make contributions for health and state pensions which entitle you to those benefits for life. It does not say anywhere nor are you informed by anyone that to maintain these benefits you must reside in the UK, So even when you have paid in for 50 yrs.is it lawful, and morale right for the rules to be changed. i think not

Making people sick with worry, especially those with serious illness and unable to travel. People who have no family in the UK where are they to go who will help and take care of them. This is so cruel to give the right to live where we choose via FOM, then snatch it away. We need ring fencing.

Many of us retired people who moved to Spain and other European countries did so because our healthcare was guaranteed, and now because of Brexit is not. The majority of us have underlying medical conditions which would make medical insurance out of the question. Many of us have also taken a financial hit because of the fall in the value of Sterling, which would mean returning to the UK and would need to be housed and receive expensive medical care for serious illnesses.

State Pension is not a benefit it is a pension fund that we have all paid into and we have a right to any increases granted within this fund.

I want to remain in Europe. I want free movement of people & businesses. Europe is the only good option. If there is to be a vote, I want the right to vote. My voice should be heard too!

I am 86, been in Spain for years, I have a granddaughter married to a Spaniard, two wonderful grandsons, friends and a good life. I own my home, no mortgage, something not achievable in the UK. Like many UK people here I was denied a vote in the referendum because of the 15 year rule. Many Brits living in the EU had no vote! We paid our NHS payments, so it is wrong to take the E121/S1 health agreement away! Are we going to be paid our contributions back...l think not!

WE NEED reciprocal healthcare agreements with EU countries.IF we all came back to the UK,we would need housing, housing benefit, winter fuel payments, home helps, more medical care due to the rain/cold.You'd be ruining lives! We cost the UK less abroad. We came to Spain on doctors advice. This was only possible because of the E121/S1 health agreement. Why have paid tax and national contribution if you are taking away my rights for health care. WILL the UK reimburse us for the loss of our homes, the cost of moving back to the UK?

Brexit is immoral as it undermines decisions people make in good faith, within a legal framework, and leaves them up in the air. Even those who have not made decisions that put them in such a situation should be terrified. This process undermines the legal framework which allows us to live our lives in security and makes every decision we make highly uncertain.
