Brexpats in Spain is a politically non-biased association and in representation of our British members here in Spain and of those Spanish who are resident in the UK, we demand our rights are ring-fenced in the event of a Brexit deal or no-deal. We all moved understanding our rights and settled in our respective countries under those terms, to pull the rug out from under our feet now is cruel and will create a huge financial and unwelcome upheaval for many, even dividing families.

Seeing the count climb toward one thousand has completely taken my breath away. It is truly humbling to realize that so many people feel this same urgency about our future. If we can reach that milestone quickly it will show those in power that our community is impossible to ignore.

I am a retired employee of Britain plc. I Paid taxes and NIY for 50 years, I now receive a pension in Pounds that is steadily less in value in Euros because of Brexit. The UK Government has a duty of care to ALL Britsh Citizens. Start Caring !!
I have loved and travelled back and fourth to this country my whole life, I studied Spanish at university specifically to fufil my dream of living in Spain permanently and I don't think it's fair that now I have to live in limbo and fear about my future.
My husband, a pensioner, has cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in Spain - please protect our healthcare rights and state pension income. We do not want to have to return to the U.K. and become a burden on the state.
Stop using people as things ... we are human beings who used our legal freedom to live in the EU, where many of us remain deprived of a vote. We are disenfranchised, and now used as bargaining chips by our own Government. Shameful treatment.
I have lived in Spain 16y and consider this my home. I paid into the UK all my working life and chose to retire to Spain. If we all move back the UK will sink like a stone because we will all have to be rehomed and will be a financial burden on the already staggering NHS
The egotistical politicians promoting Brexit, have given no thought and dont care what happens to those of us who moved here believing our rights would be maintained. They will not be affected negatively by Brexit. I have completely lost faith in the UK and its politicians. We should remain part of the EU. We are such an embarrassment in Europe!

I support anything that will maintain our rights and they should allow us to Vote in any UK Elections. I served in the RAF for almost 30 years and I find it hard to believe that I, and my Wife, are now not allowed to Vote as a result of us choosing to live in Spain
