Brewongle Solar Plant - BIG Solar in the WRONG place!

This is the wrong place for a solar farm. It is adjacent to residential premises and prime grazing land. A due process has not been followed to establish the suitability of the location and to analyse the long term financial consequences for the area. It will have a detrimental impact on the Brewongle community and its residents who are rural farmers and have been invested in the area over generations.

There is splenty of land in this area that is not such Prime grazing land we are continually fighting as Primary Producers to remain just that. If Photon Energy wishes to erect these solar panels they should be looking at land that is not good grazing land cropping land Just as the wind farms have done on land at Hampton

Find a more ideal position for a solar farm. Don’t put it in good agricultural land and seriously effect the lives of many families.

Projects like this should be placed on unproductive, marginal land and they should also be located in areas where they do not interfere with people's quality of life and land values. Australia is a large country with lots of marginal land but a finite amount of productive land. Has adequate community consultation been carried out? No. Who will benefit from this project? Not the local community (except for 1 farmer) or Australian bank accounts. Where will the profits and government funding end up? Overseas. Please have some sensible foresight when considering this project.

Brewongle is definitely the WRONG place for a 2 million square metre industrial solar power plant. This land is zoned RU1 for a reason. It is prime agricultural land in the middle of a village where families have established their homes. Why in a country with so much space would a foreign owned company establish an industrial power plant in Brewongle? How could this be allowed?

Don’t destroy our rural land, and outlook, and property values to boost the Asian coffers

Why degrade prime rural land in the name of renewable solar energy? Terrible choice of sites - Brewongle is a beautiful place don't spoil it by constructing a massive industrial solar plant right in the middle of it. We are a big country - put in some effort and find marginal land to build your plant !

If the Government wants to bias renewable energy,it should be in State forests ie.,on Government owned land & not impact farming assets.

Protect farming land. We should be having national, not foreign ownership in our own energy resources.

This is an inappropriate use of prime agricultural land. I fully support solar but Brewongle or any usable rural land is NOT the place for it. I also object to foreign companies getting millions of dollars of hard earned tax payers money in solar rebates. Spend this money assisting australian families to get solar on their homes.

Not appropriate for this area. Go somewhere that is out of the way and no use to anyone. Plenty of scrubby useless land in Australia.

Brewongle Large Scale Solar Plant will dominate the landscape and is in the wrong location

one creep of a land owner wants to destroy our hidden jewell of prime ag land because he is a selfish nasty pig.

Renewable energy plants in this country are supposed to be about reducing the impacts on our environment. This project will have a damaging effect of an area of irreplaceable high value and pristine agricultural land. Solar farms are supported but they must be situated in an appropriate area. Brewongle is not the suitable site to build a solar farm.

Solar energy farms should never be constructed on PRIME FARM land. Solar farms should only be constructed on marginal land. The area is not zoned for anything other than farming! Do not destroy good land!

Solar energy YES, Brewongle NO. Plenty of wide open spaces in Australia to build a solar energy plant.

I think Solar energy is a is a great way for sustainable energy however the location at Browongle is not the right place. It is a prime agricultural land and has many local residents including families that will be greatly affected. You need to choose another site!!!!

I say absolutely no solar farm at Brewongle
